Arthur walked into the forest, taking observations as to where the best spots to hide were. Normally, this wasn't particular usual for Arthur, but today he was tutoring Mei Chun in his specialty; stealth.
He was never one to brag about how good he was, but he always considered himself to be a young James Bond. Truly, his skills weren't one to be doubting, though they could always use work. So, besides focusing on helping Mei, Arthur was looking forward to doing some training for himself.
The Englishman wasn't necessarily the type to go out and offer assistance to others, but there were always the select few that didn't annoy him to death and Mei was one of them. So, he had absolutely no problem tutoring her in stealth. After all, it was a very, very helpful skill to perfect. Hopefully, the two would never have a face-off of some sort, for the student can always surpass the teacher.
Though, that was the future and Arthur was more concerned about teaching Mei how exactly she can improve her ability to be stealthy. Many ideas ran through his head, yet, he tried remembering how he developed his own skills.
He stopped in the middle of the forest and looked around. Arthur sighed and sat on a tree stump, patiently waiting for Mei to arrive.

So it would be a stealth lesson today and a lesson nonetheless taught by one of her friends Arthur Kirkland. It was this very reason to why she was dressed in her a pair of agile sweats and a comfy shirt. She knew for a fact that if stealth was on the cards today she’d need something she could move around in, something that wouldn’t slow her down her make her sloppy in her movements.
In all honesty she was glad that he was teaching her stealth. With her main skill lying within the world of poison, the talent of stealth could really improve her abilities. With the help of stealth she could sneak attack her victims or even attack them from afar, all under the safe cover of some sort of secret place. Yes, stealth would really benefit Mei.
When she finally made her way to the forest she grinned and sent a polite wave to Arthur who sat punctually on a tree stump in the middle of the clearing. The forest was a perfect place to practice, with the trees so closely knitted together that the countless number of low canopied branches and leaves it made hiding possibilities endless. Though she knew she was a long way off that level yet, metaphorically speaking she needed to walk before she could run.
“Ni hao, Arthur.” She grinned “I trust you had a nice morning?” she asked kindly.

Arthur fiddled with the zipper on his jacket as he waited for Mei. In all honesty, he was a bit nervous to be teaching another, especially a girl. No, he wasn't sexist or anything of the sort, it was just that Arthur was still at that awkward age where he felt awkward with any girl. Really, he tried to act like a gentleman with stupendous manners, but the Englishman felt like that wasn't enough sometimes.
As he saw Mei draw near and wave to him, Arthur shyly waved back to her. He then mentally slapped himself, for he probably looked very awkward, which would indeed make him all flustered just thinking about it; thus, resulting in more awkwardness. However, he couldn't think like that, since would cause everything to become a train-wreck.
He stood up, "Ah, hello Mei". Arthur let out a soft laugh, "My morning... well, you know how things usually are around here". Really, his morning seemed to start the same way, with the same annoying people being... well, annoying. Though, he liked to tune them out and pretend like he was in some meadow during a windy July back at home. Yet, that fantasy usually ended as soon as someone accidentally ran into him when they were charging like a rhinoceros to the cafeteria for breakfast.
Arthur cleared his throat, "How was your morning?"

Mei’s expression immediately fell into one of understanding; grumpy teenage spies didn’t mix well with one and other especially during the early hours of the morning. She shook her head as she remembered a particularly nasty fight she’d encountered between two students one dreary morning. It hadn’t been very pleasant and she certainly didn’t enjoy picking a stray bloody tooth which had landed in her breakfast.
Needless to say, from then on Mei tried to keep away from the breakfast room and carried a spare granola bar with her if she needed a quick morning snack. It was easier than fighting through the impossible cues as well which were – in Mei’ opinion - generally ridiculous, the fact that the staff entertained the thought that the entire student body could cram themselves into one room, was honestly astonishing.
“My morning, well it was pretty boring.” She said sincerely. Since she did keep away from the cafeteria in the mornings the most exciting thing that happened was she got to open a brand new pack of cereal bars. Not that she prayed for excitement – sure, sometimes a little adventure was fun but not when she’d just crawled out of bed. Heavens no, Mei much preferred her endeavours to happen later when she was finally fully awake.
She stared back into the dense wilderness, the forest was hauntingly intimidating. how exciting... “So where would you like to start?” asked Mei eagerly.
