-Weaponry; His fascination with weapons began at a very early age with a trip to a museum. The large battle axes were what fascinated him the most. He began to delve into the history of the vikings and the weapons they used. After a few years, Mathias started to research different weapons around the world. With so much factual information in his brain, he began to create mini replicas of different weapons to understand the physical aspects of the different sorts of weapons.

+Even though Mathias doesn't seem like the avid-reader type, he does have quite the collection of Danish/Scandinavian folklore; his favorite being Beowulf.
+If he wasn't accepted into the school, the Dane had plans of sailing the seas after he finished school at home. Even still, he sometimes fantasizes about what his life would've been like if he stayed home and took a boat out to sea.
+Under his bed, he keeps a Danish axe he had to cut down to fit under the bed. He can't exactly explain why it's there, except for the fact it makes him feel like he's home.
OVERALL PERSONALITY
Mathias Densen can be described as a rather harsh young man, with endless enthusiasm for anything he deems worth his time. Yet, he is a cheerful person, with a smile present on his face. Now, that smile may range from a happy one, to a cocky smile, or perhaps even a sadistic smile if angered. Even in the worst possible situation, Mathias can still manage to look towards the brighter side in any sort of plight. Also, he likes to throw in a joke or two, or maybe even a prank depending on the situation.
Going hand in hand with his cheerful disposition, Mathias often ignores any negative or mean comments. Really, he sees no point in paying any attention to it, therefore, Mathias just laughs it off.
Offending the Dane can be quite a task for one that wishes to do so. Mathias typically shrugs any sort of insult and often laughs at them. Indeed, it may seem as if he were having typical “blonde” moments, yet, the Dane has oodles of self-confidence, so there isn’t much one can say to bring him down.
Mathias is a very opinionated man, with quite a few ideas towards many things. He isn’t one to be shy or timid in expressing his opinion either. In fact, he would much rather let everyone know how he feels about a certain subject. Yet, if one were to attempt to change his opinion, his stubborn side may show and create a heated argument.
The Dane is can be quite controlling at times, mainly towards people, however. In a hypothetical situation involving him and a large group of friends, he would be the leader of the group, ignoring any comments or protests.
Despite the fact that Mathias may come off as a happy, laid-back person, he can go on a rampage when he is furious; though one would have to work at him for quite a while to get this far. His anger is the perfect example of “viking rage”, or for lack of better words, going completely berserk. He is extremely impulsive and acts on a whim without thinking twice. Often times, he doesn't exactly realize he physically or emotionally hurts others during these moments, for he is way too caught up in himself and his anger.
Overall, the Dane is a cheery young man with a lot of spunk. He is a very valuable friend and will stick to someone till the very end.
Mathias sat down in an almost empty white room with no windows or light besides the only one overhead. He looked at the desk in front of him with hardly anything on it and sighed. The young Dane wasn't even exactly sure where he was.
A woman walked in and sat in the seat behind the desk. She smiled, revealing the wrinkles all over her face and her unusual pearly white teeth. "So, Mr. Densen, do you know why you're here?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.
He gave the woman a fake smile back, "Well, obviously not or you wouldn't be asking me that question. That's what they always ask, ya' know.. Before ya' get in trouble," his smile disappeared and was replaced by a confused look on his face, "I'm not in trouble, am I?"
The woman laughed as if he told the funniest joke on the planet. "No, no," she pulled herself together, "We're just here to talk about something... Your parents are very concerned about your... erm.. interests". She knitted her eyebrows, "I agree with them. Your... interests.. Um.. Are rather unusual for your age".
Mathias still wasn't understanding what the woman,"My interests? The hell ya' talkin' 'bout?" She sighed and flattened her skirt, "Weapons. Don't you think it's unusual that a boy your age is doing research done by a weapons specialist who has gotten at least a degree in the subject?
"Did you know the Danish axe is pretty lightweight, thin, but still powerful? I mean, it's kinda surprising considering how they looked and how much damage they could do," Mathias smirked, "Listen lady, I don't think it's a big deal and I really don't give a damn what you or my parents think. So if you don't mind I'll be on my way. I have an axe to make, ya' know ".
He hopped off the chair and laughed, "Better watch out! I'm gonna turn into a murderer with the stockpile of Viking axes I'm making!" Mathias walked out the door, laughing all the way.
