Tino shielded his eyes for a few seconds, as he waited for a cloud to pass in front of the blinding sun in the clearing. He made his way to one of the trees that was set up with a straw padding wrapped around it. He felt the two black handled knives in each of his hands, a small piece of metal jetted from the blade and curved over his knuckles. He took a deep breath as he sized up the target before dashing at the padded tree. Giving out a cry of anger, his dagger dug into the bottom of the target before smashing his foot at a kick of the top.
He jumped back before dashing into it with another strike. He dug his dagger again, this time right into the center. His eye shifted sightly as an impish smile emerged on his face as he grabbed both daggers from the tree and continued to hack away at the target padding.
His breath grew hard as he took note of his handy work. A smile emerged from his face until he heard something not far off. He couldn't see anyone but hated how the small clearing left him out in the open. He heard it again, louder, as the crunching noise of twigs and leaves left him a little scattered for a second before he realized what he had to do. Making a quick dash for the bushes near by, he tried to move silently so he could keep his presence unknown as he tried to get a good view of the person who ventured off into the woods.

Yong Soo grinned as he walked through the forest, all of his troubles and problems trailing of in the breeze. That is, if he had problems in the first place. He was happy, he was bored, and he happened to be around the forest after lunch and had decided to take a wonderful little stroll in order to calm his full stomach. He had brought his bow of course; his teachers demanded that he always be prepared for a fight and he didn't exactly like close combat, so his trusty bow followed him along everywhere like an eager puppy.
Alone in his thoughts, he eventually made his way to some sort of a clearing where trees circled around and a few targets littered the area, perfect for training later on. Curiously, he took his bow off his back and strung it, reaching under his hanbok to grab a few arrows. With a grin, he notched an arrow and drew back the string before letting it go and watching the arrow sail through the air and embed itself into a target.
"This is great~!" He crowed, laughing as he ran towards the target to retrieve his arrow, completely oblivious of the person watching him.

Tino viewed from his spot as he waited to see someone else enter the clearing, hoping that he wasn’t spotted. His head tilting slightly as the other student walked into the area. He flickered back in his mind as he raced to try and think if he had seen the other student before, but guessed he had passed him in the hall a few times. He took a few seconds to try and piece all the clues he could gather off of him. Aside from the way he dressed, which could easily be a disguise, and the bow which could also be a disguise.
Well that was before the other teen shot an arrow into the target, causing the young Finnish teen to blink. Okay not a disguise. It was then the memory of when Fritzi had told him about some of the students before. Im Young Soo? I think that was his name. Tino sat in his hiding spot as he tried to piece everything together. He smiled as the other student happily ran off to grab the arrow. An impish smile spread across his face as his calculative mind started to piece various things together. Standing up slightly from his hiding spot, Tino shot one of the small rocks from his slingshot purposely missing the other student to hit the target. “I know right?” His smile shifted to a kind hearted style as he walked up to remove the small projectile from the target.

Yong Soo had reached for and grabbed the arrow when the rock sailed past him. He jumped when that happened, quite a bit at that, and pulled his arrow clean out with that movement. He turned quickly, doing a 360 before seeing the small, blonde boy in the clearing near him. He did cheer up at seeing another person here though, and he was definitely nice, or at least not violent. Otherwise, that rock would have sailed into his head instead of that poor target.
"H-Hi there, I didn't see you there!" He said as he slipped the arrow back in its quiver, looking curiously at the blond boy. He hadn't seen many European-looking children back before this island, and now he was overwhelmed by the amount of western students. Most of them were nice though, so he had always tried making friends with them, whether it was successful or not.
Some might call him foolish for putting away his weapon when he was near a newly-met potentially dangerous person, and others might think that he was just friendly. Whether he was or not wouldn't matter too much until later, and he figured that this was a nice way to show trust.

The young Finnish lad adjusted his barrette as he watched the other student jumped as the rock shot passed him. It wasn't that he was aiming to hurt the other teen, but he couldn't pass up a chance to try and avoid one target to hit another. A impish smile emerged as he removed the small projectile from the dummy and turned back toward the other student. "Yeah I jumped into the bushes when I heard something coming up the path, last thing I need was to get caught practicing by a teacher again. Heard enough about that the first time." His eyes narrowed, as the young blond bit his lip. His smile reappeared as he took a few steps back. His fingers rubbed the stone as he thought.
Taking in various details about the other student, but the thought was cut off when he heard another sound. He shook his head as he turned around and saw a small rabbit run by and disappear into the woods. "It's nice to meet you, I''m Tino." The young teen smiled as he turned back to the target and launched another stone at the dummy. Walking back to remove the stone, before extending his hand. "So what brings you out into the woods?" Tino smiled kindly as he tried to gather more pieces of the puzzle that was another student at the school. He figured if he learned more about the students in the school, he might know how to avoid problems later on.

Yong Soo jumped again at the new sound, flinching and turning his vision to the direction of the running rabbit. He grinned at the sight of the cute animal, completely ignoring the fact that he had just been so easily scared by something so much smaller than he. He turned back to the boy to see him launching a stone at another target. That was a pretty cool weapon; it was mobile, had the potential to be deadly, and could look pretty inconspicuous. He preferred his trusty bow and arrow, but he could respect the boy's choice of weapon.
He watched as the boy went to retrieve the stone and happily took his hand in his own when it was offered, shaking enthusiastically. "Hi Tino, I'm Yong Soo!" He said as his grin turned into a warm smile. "I'm here for no reason, just walking around. The weather was beautiful so I thought why not, da-ze~!" It was really nice to encounter a friendly student; all the ones he had met so far either wanted to kill him, or kill him painfully. Then again, grabbing at their breasts wasn't exactly the best thing to do when you met somebody new. At least he learned his lesson after the first few times, especially after that one pesky knife wound to the side.

Tino smiled as he thought about Yong Soo’s bow. The fact that it was easily carried, and the fact that it was deadly and had a good reach on, it made a near perfect weapon at a distance. But he shook the thought away he still preferred his slingshot despite people never taking it seriously; well not until they’ve been nailed in the head by one. Plus Tino loved that it still packed a punch at close range, and how easily it was to catch people off guard if they’ve never seen it before. But that was the same as Tino; never appearing as a threat till needed.
He smiled as he shook hands with the other student. He was happy slightly to find someone who wasn’t completely psychotic at the school. That seems familiar. Tino thought back on when he came out to the woods to train, grant it, one of the reasons was because it was daylight and he didn’t want to be seen practicing on the outside wall again, and also it would have been trouble if a stray stone had smashed a window again. He shook the thought out of his mind with a smile. “Sounds like the same reason I came here, that and practicing out here is much less of issues.” He twisted the small knife in his pocket as he thought before his fingers curved around the blade out of habit. “But it is nice to meet someone here who doesn’t look like there trying to kill me at first glance. He took a few steps back letting go of the knife handle in his pocket. Shooting another stone into the tree, he smiled with the impish smile that few had seen of the mischievous side of the Finnish teen. “So how about a little contest?”
