Abel sighed as he made his way into the courtyard. A large leather bound book was held against his chest, as his feet brushed against the well trimmed grass. It had seemed like an eternity sense he last spent time reading something that wasn't school related, or a hand out, or a medical book, despite them being one of his favorite things to read. Scratching slightly at his hair under his hat, as he tried to find a place to sit and read. His red eyes shifted around until he found a cement bench under a tree. His smile shined slightly as he started to walk toward the perfect reading spot.
He sat down on the cold bench, giving a shiver as he felt the cool stone below him. The wind didn't help this much, but the light cool breeze did seem to remind him somewhat of home, and away from the school. He tried to find his spot in the book, and gave a fangish smile as he found the crimson ribbon a quarter of the way into the book. His smile grew as his eyes traced over the book written in Romanian. His red eyes blinked as he tilted his head slightly, and managed to keep his tiny hat from not moving appon his head. He gave a small yawn as he started to lose himself to world around him, and to try and envision the world of the well-aged novel. He wasn't even aware of the odd feeling that was spiking telling him something was going to happen.

Fritzi had been avoiding the teachers and skipping class like usual. Nothing new there. The albino girl honestly wondered why the teachers hadn't given up on getting her to attend classes yet. She only attended the ones she found fun or if there was a big test she had to take. So since neither of those things were happening today, she had decided to take a nap instead of attend class. In a tree, since they tended to check her dorm now a days and just outright drag her to classes by her hair if they found her sleeping there.
So there she was, all happy and napping on a not so comfortable tree branch, when she heard someone sit on the oh-so-convenient bench that was almost directly under her. Huh, she had seen this guy around once or twice, usually milling around the infirmary though. Rumor was that he was apparently a vampire. Cause he's Romanian and has a fang. Oh the silly masses, they were the perfect sheep, even here, so of course she has to do something to save everyone from their boredom. She wouldn't be Fritzi the Great if she didn't.
Fritzi took a peek over the side of the branch, making sure to stay as silent as she possibly could as she swung her legs over one side, made sure her shirt was tucked in, and flipped over so she was now hanging upside down off the branch she had been sleeping on earlier. The ends of her long white hair brushed the dirt, and her head was a bit off to the side of the boy sitting on the bench. She squinted a little at the book in his hands.
"Whatcha reading?" She asked him loudly, arms crossed over her chest as she continued to hang upside down from the tree, breaking the tranquil silence around them.

Abel had become so encased in the fantasy story as his eyes traced over the words in front of him. He smiled as a light breeze blew past him and ruffled the pages slightly under his fingers. A soft smile emerged as his mind took him from the island and into the world that was painted across the words on the pages. He was peacefully oblivious to the other student above him, or the intentions that were going through her mind.
He hadn't even noticed the odd feeling inside of him telling him to turn his head. It was then the words came to him, and his whole body shot up, almost causing him to bash his head on the back of the bench. He fell forward off of the bench, dropping his book onto the cement seat. Turning to the other student, his red eyes met her's as he felt his heart race in his chest. "A-a fantasy novel I bought before I came here, why do you ask?" He was confused by the girl who was hanging from the tree, and wasn't sure what really to say. He looked up and down as he tried to figure her out, but every idea that came to his mind just made him more and more confused. He shuffled to his feet, and adjusted his hat.
What is wrong with this student? It wasn't until he took a note on her hair color and her eyes, he then remembered what he over heard an older student. He remembered him mentioning the devil with white hair, and something about paint. Shaking his head, he tried to think on what to say. But came up speechless, as he tried to dig for the words.

Fritzi couldn't remember the last time she had had this much trouble trying her best not to laugh. Honestly, the look of confusion on the other student's face was priceless, and it was taking all of her will power not to laugh at it and fall out of the tree. The albino girl really did not want to get yet another concussion, or crack her head open again, three times for both was quite enough thank you very much. She did let a few snickers escape though as she continued to hang from the branch of the tree.
"Oh I'm just curious, considering I have nothing better to do than bother you since I'm skipping class like usual." she said, shrugging as best as someone could when they were trying not to fall off a branch that they were hanging upside down on. She gave the boy a wolfish grin, swinging herself up and around the branch, so she was laying on top of it, arms and legs falling off the sides instead of hanging upside down. She kept still for a few seconds as the blood rushed down from her head, taking a small deep breath, before continuing to grin at the other student. Fritzi idly wondered just how much, and how long, it would take her to annoy this one into doing something stupid fun. Hmm, now there's a thought...
"Sooooo, you're the one that people like to say is a vampire, right? I guess I should thank you then for making others stop calling me that." She said, grinning and giving him an outlandish wink. If he was anything like most of the students here that comment would have offended him enough to give her a funny reaction, or at least that was what she was hoping for as she kept grinning at him, wiggling her eyebrows as well. 'Now let's see just how long it takes to unnerve book-boy...'[/color]
