Tino sighed as he finally found an empty enough spot to eat. Setting down his tray of what the cafeteria had decided for him. Okay so maybe I should have been more specific with my food choice. Taking a bite of the mystery food, as he dug through his messenger bag until he found the book he was needing. He took another bite of his food, as he started to write down various ideas. He wasn't sure what he would be able to pull out of the book, but one never knows what could be pulled from nature.
Writing down a few notes in a notebook he had stashed to the side. His pencil glided across the page, keeping track of what plants did what, how fast there effects were, and if they had to be ingested or if it could be coated on a weapon and effect from a wound. He set the pencil down and took another bite of his food, and leaned his head back. This is really good, I'll have to remember to ask what they were serving. He smiled as he took another bite of the pasta like food, before returning to his notes. He nearly choked on the bite he had, as he read over the entry in the book. "Okay maybe that one would be a little bit too extreme. After all I really don't want people to bleed out their eyes." He adjusted his beret, as he mumbled under his breath. He took another bite of his lunch, unaware that he had left the book open.

Bryn hummed to himself as he carried his tray through the cafeteria. Today, he'd decided to wear a knee length skirt, a long sleeved shirt, and a sweater. He looked like a catholic school girl. His tray was filled with mostly types of cheeses and yogurt. Finding an empty seat besides another boy, he sat down.
"Hullo." he greeted cheerfully, using his spoon to pick up a bit of cottage cheese. "I'm Bryn. It's nice t'meet you." The spoon disappeared into his mouth, and he savored the creamy, somewhat sour taste. He peered over to see what the other boy was reading. It looked like a book on poisonous plants. Ooo, you could do -that- to a person? He'd have to jot that down later.

Tino continued to bounce between the food he was eating and the page he was on. His inner warning system went off as the other student sat down besides him. He took a few seconds to try and gather everything he could about the other teen, but could grasp a lot of things he normally could. Shaking his head, he smiled kindly in the manner that he usually did. The only thing he could pick up on was the love of dairy products. He was curious about the way the other student had dressed, but figured he wouldn’t pry too much, asking question often ruined the fun of trying to figure things out.
“Moi, it’s nice to meet you.” He tilted his head slightly as the other teen started to introduce himself. “My names Tino.” The young Finnish teen gave a small laugh when he noticed the other teen look down at his book. “An interesting effect isn’t it?” He took another bite of his lunch, as his mind raced. “One of the many surprises that this world of ours hides from us.” He tried to put out the thought of the side effect as he talked, mostly due to the fact that, while interesting, it wasn’t a useful for him unless he wanted to force feed it to someone. He shook his head as he tried to break the train of thought. “Sorry, I sometime let my studies cloud too much of me.” The smile shifted slightly into a more impish smile as he once again tried to piece clues together from Bryn.
