Time to be helpful~ [Arthur]

Yong-Soo quickly walked back towards his dorm, after a little late night stroll through the courtyard. He knew it’d be a bad idea to be late; the last time he had stayed past 11, he and Arthur had gotten a week’s worth of detentions, not a good way to start off a relationship with his new roommate. He had never been able to find out how Arthur felt about that, but he seemed pretty friendly now so Yong-Soo assumed Arthur liked him, after all, who doesn’t like him?

Deciding not to push his luck however, he started running as it was already 10:55 and he was already cutting it a bit close as it was. He looked a little ridiculous, running towards the dorms with his hanbok sleeves flapping about, although he’d never admit it to himself. He wondered if Arthur was worried or annoyed that he was almost late but then remembered that Arthur would be studying for the big test tomorrow. Yong-Soo had already planned ahead and studied enough that he’d get close to perfect, and had spent the last few days having fun on StarCraft. StarCraft is Yong-Soo’s number one choice for video games, after all, it was made in Korea!

“And speaking of StarCraft, I should go on and play some tonight. I’ll have fun destroying all the noobs, da-ze~” he thought out loud.

Content with his plan for the night, he started thinking about how he could help Arthur with his studying. Maybe he could get him some yummy Korean food, or maybe get him to play StarCraft for a little bit as a break! Excited to finally be of help, he burst through his dorm door, calling out, “Hi there Arthur, I’m back! How’s the studying going, da-ze~?”

Arthur was always one to study, in fact, his class rank proved it. However, he had the tendency to be a bit paranoid. Rather, he was always overly paranoid, especially when it concerned big tests. The Englishman never failed a test, but he certainly didn't want to get a grade he considered "failing".

So, as soon as he could, he gathered up all the materials he needed and began to study in his room. He spent hours and hours in silence going over every single thing that had a good chance of being on the test, which was about everything that they covered in class so far. Honestly, Arthur was getting a bit of a headache from trying to absorb all the information.

Arthur was hoping that his roommate wouldn't come barging in, but as he looked at the clock, he knew that the other would be arriving shortly. He groaned; Arthur certainly didn't need anymore detentions.

But still, he continued to study, hoping that Yong-Soo would understand the need for silence that night and would just go straight to bed or something. Though, when the Korean burst into the room, Arthur began to think otherwise.

He scowled, "I'm still studying you git. Do you mind not yelling so loudly? I'm positive that everyone can hear you if that's what you're aiming for". Arthur flipped the page of his book as his headache began to get worse and worse. "Why don't you go to sleep or something? It's fairly late."

Slightly off put by his less-than-friendly greeting, Yong-Soo walked around the dorm thinking of what to do. He could always take Arthur’s advice and go to sleep, but that’d be boring and he was much too awake for that anyways. He sat on the couch for a little bit, thinking about how cranky Arthur had sounded. Maybe he should make him a little late night snack; after all, the only way that someone could be mad at him was if they were hungry!

“Hey Arthur, I’m going to make some food! Do you want some?” Yong-Soo called out towards Arthur’s bedroom. “Never mind, I’ll make you some anyways, just stay tight in your room, da-ze~!”

Happy that he could be of help, he went into the kitchen, wondering what he could make that Arthur would like. He settled on some Bulgogi; after all, he had already marinated the meat and all that there was left to do was cook it! He could almost taste the food as he cooked, he hoped it turned out alright and Arthur liked it and forgave him for everything! “Although, it is Korean food after all, of course he’ll love it!’ he thought.

He walked with the cooked food on a platter to Arthur’s room, knocking and entering even before Arthur even had a chance to answer. While cooking, Yong-Soo came up with something hilariously brilliant that he would say when he came into Arthur’s room and he hoped that it’d give Arthur a little comedic relief from the studying. Walking into the room, he giggled out to Arthur, “Hey, do you want some food? What am I saying, of course you do; everybody wants a mouthful of this Korean meat, da-ze~!”
